I thought it was funny. I don't care for RUclips reviews anymore because now anytime I see one it just hurts seeing someone complain about the smallest things. Its a Netflix movie so I watched it with some family and I thought it was pretty good for what it was. The songs were alright, and the I loved the animation. I kind of wish they decided to go fully stylized but I don't mind the exaggerated animation at all. Definitely not an eyesore, it had gross out moments but so do other movies. I'm sorry a PG movie on Netlfix didn't meet your high-brow, sophisticated, posh expectations. _The Bad Guys movie was amazing and perfect I loved every moment of it! BUT THELMA THE UNICORN DOESN'T DERSEVE EVEN THE SMALLEST AMOUNT OF ATTENTION_ Is it rage bait, is that why every reviewer with a cartoon character hates everything? If you want to watch a Netflix movie based on a book by Aaron Blabey and Directed By Jared Hess and Lynn Wang then you might enjoy this movie.

Based on the marketing, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that The Garfield Movie is either going to be an absolute masterpiece or one of the worst animated movies of all time.

My favorite Garfield movie bit is the first live action film’s dvd menu song. It’s a horrible attempt at a spanish cumbia with one single line of “me gusta corar lasagna”. I once sat in bed with a fever watching the dvd menu on repeat for several hours as a kid. And 20 years on i remember every single note, instrument, harmony, even the extract lenth of the pause between loops

we do need more owl movies. that was number 1, cgi best movie i ever seen

Nobody can replace Lorenzo Music as Garfield. He really brought Garfield’s snarky voice and catty demeanor to life in both the show and the television specials.

I hear the 3d tv show version of Garfield whenever I read Garfield. A generational thing surely.

I can’t explain it, but many modern kids movies are coming out now in the same bland style with wacky proportions and odd textures. It’s not favorite.

2004 Garfield sucked!

I unironically love bill Murray’s Garfield. Especially the first one. I used to rent them from blockbuster every time. They are unhinged and so authentically 2000s. But also the story telling is great and bill Murray is a perfect voice for Garfield

the reason gahoole is not the best movie, was well.. you cannot put a full lore story from the book series in a 2 hr movie. However, this movie was amazing and I remember how much I wanted to see it. The teaser for Gahoole was made very well too, so it did sold.. and the author was even an executive producer. This is one the movies I would watch again for its amazing visuals!

Hmmmm, the soundtrack might be really good. 🤔 I mean if you combine ideas from different areas and not rip off one whole element, the thing can work.

My introduction to Ultraman was the anime series trilogy also on Netflix. It acts as a sequel to the OG show and it is kinda of different but familiar to the Ultraman franchise.

You know when it comes to kid’s movies if it makes me laugh once it is at least a decent movie and this movie had me laughing quite a bit not a lot but enough for it to be a decent kid’s movie

I like it. Watched it today, finally found the time and I think, what I like is, that we do get to see what's behind the people that are bad, or at least why Danny does what he does and why the producer does what he does, so we don't need to imagine it. We know why they are this way and I found Danny, the horse that throws up, funny. I'm simple, I like jokes that are like "wait, but horses can't throw up" and that's why he got popular and to be fair, that's the point the movie probably makes here. You have to have something no one else can do, and here we go! It doesn't even have to be good! I think I found it funny, that we had this variety of human figures and I loved that that lady, that wanted to take in Thelma and her Band, looked like Edna Mode, but different ethnicity. I love Thelma, I adore Danny and while it's not super deep, I think it's a fine watch

I just saw it at the “lazy Sunday” event by AMC theaters today. It was simple to say in the least…

the garfield gets real trilogy was introduction to garfield so i kinda have a soft spot for those direct to dvd films even if there far from perfect

Scott Beach only voiced Garfield once in 1980, for a TV Special celebrating comic strip characters, and hosted by Goldie Hawn. Lorenzo Music voiced Garfield from 1982 all the way until his passing in 2001, and his voice is considered by many to be the definitive Garfield voice. Frank Welker voiced the titular cat from Garfield Gets Real onward, and it’s odd that they didn’t just cast him for this new film as his voice was in many a feature length film before. The Bill Murray Garfield films are so bad they’re good for me. Bill Murray did great with what he was given to work with, but the writing still could’ve been better, mostly with the first one (it basically comes across as an elongated retelling of Here Comes Garfield). I think Chris Pratt might sound more like Garfield if the sound engineers had enough insight to lower the pitch of Chris’s voice recordings for it a semitone or two?

Garfield is just about to make history. His marketing campaign is just nothing but give me now a lot of promotion of how the movie is almost here and it collapsed with every single apartment object that they had to make Garfield like a popcorn bucket A Garfield chair and pretty soon every single apartment object. He even tried to make fun of every studios with his parody posters out of every movie that is from 2024 but the most weirdest part is that Inside Out 2 and Sonic Movie 3 are the only survival movies that did not get parody by Garfield. This Chris Pratt fat lazy ass cat is about to make history with ALL of these things he did!

tbf i think the "new liver" ending could work better if it was not a "better than original" repair but just good enough so dusty's good enough to fly for another mission aaaaand good enough to save lifes another day It won't put him into racing, but still allow him to be the fire fighter
